Suzanne Boisvert on Premium Indie Reads

Suzanne grew up in Richardson Texas with her sister and two brothers. She learned from her parents that everyone can make their dreams become reality, and that life is a combination of luck and skill. She began to dream big at a young age and feels extremely lucky in this life being the mom of four incredible children.

Immediately after graduating from high school, Suzanne was discovered and left for Paris to pursue her modeling career. She traveled around the world living in Tokyo and Milan, and then ultimately moving to London with her former husband.

After eleven years in England, Suzanne moved to Santa Barbara where she lives with her husband, Phil, her best friend and inspiration.

Through the years, Suzanne created Boisvert Lingerie, Avia Spa, and became a DJ. The story that has haunted her since she was a young girl has found its way out and into her first novel which is the first of a trilogy. The amazing support from her family and friends helped her realize her dream and she is very grateful for this opportunity to self publish.

When Suzanne isn't writing, she's enjoying time with her family, their three dogs and traveling. She's also an avid soccer player and feels very lucky to play on a co-ed team with her husband, and on her awesome women's team, The Cosmos.

Hello Suzanne, tell us about the writer? How was The Awakening: Fate in Motion  conceived?

I am an extremely visual person and have had this idea in my head from a very young age. The story has evolved many times over the years and has run through my head like a movie so I finally decided that I had to write it down in book form.

Why did you choose the  SCIENCE FICTION genre?

I have always imagined stories with different alien races influencing our evolution and so it was natural for me to write in this genre.

Is there a book or author that inspired you to be a writer?

My first influence was  Steven King's 'IT' and  Anne Rice's 'Interview With the Vampire'

What can readers expect when they read The Awakening?

Readers of The Awakening can expect an action-packed, adrenaline-fueled ride! Memorable characters will lead the reader through the depths of a twisted ancient alien conspiracy to unlock a powerful message. The writing is sharp and fluid, with the thrilling plot driving the characters forward on their uniting journey.

The Awakening; Fate in Motion

Are you releasing a new book anytime soon?

I plan on the sequel being available in a year.

What do you love about being an author?

I love being able to put the movies that I see in my head in book form.  I am also loving the freedom it brings.

What is your message to readers?

Never give up on your dreams and have faith.
